Key Responsibilities Maintain and update pricing structures of all customers, carrier rates and data information including up-loads Manage pricing audit and expiring reporting Provide analytics support by way of data entry and review to contribute towards the ongoing processes Set up to improve profit margins through more strategic pricing Provide P&L cost change information within established deadlines Complex data manipulation in spreadsheets, for tender pricing and price file maintenance Coordinate with Procurement Team regarding pricing changes, policies and procedures Extract, transform and compile a variety data (e.g. financial data/gain shares, GRI, shipping volumes) for use in various analytical and reporting Assist with the coordination of all aspects of the tender process ensuring tender submission is in line with agreed strategy and margin expectation Monitor profit margins in daily transaction billings Process mass loads of price data, consider, manage data from multiple sources to support market review Monitor carrier websites and notifications Perform price contract documentation audits and communicate corrective actions Provide appropriate and timely information to other departments Investigate pricing discrepancies and obtain rectification in a timely manner to prevent further issues Improve processes, files and documents to increase efficiencies within the role General Skills Freight Forwarding industry knowledge is preferred Strong numerical and commercial skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent usage of computer / operating system (Microsoft Windows) along with other office applications (Microsoft Office) (Cargowise – preferable) Proactive, team worker with excellent time management and organisation skills Enthusiastic, flexible, and self-motivated Why choose Metro?
