We’re looking for a customer-focused Graduate Logistics Coordinator professional to join our high-performing team based at our Belfast City Centre site. What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting our customers in Northern Ireland, you’ll be the heartbeat of our international freight operations, ensuring goods travel smoothly across borders and oceans.
- Developing strong relationships to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Coordinating timely freight movement with complete and accurate documentation.
- Resolving customer queries quickly and professionally.
- Arranging haulage with shipping lines and ensuring dispatch readiness.
- Acting as a point of co-ordination between the Belfast site and the operations, commercial and trade teams in Birmingham to ensure smooth handover of secured shipments.
- Supporting with all elements of Air, Road and Ocean pricing including imports, exports and cross trade.
- Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers; confirming equipment availability and agreeing prices where no tariff exists to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Communicating with customers to follow up on quotes and obtain feedback to measure, analyse and circulate to the relevant teams, adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities.
- Any other delegated tasks deemed reasonable as assigned by the reporting manager in line with department growth.
- Taking ownership of your development and staying ahead in your field.
