Overview: As a key player on Metro’s grocery team, you will ensure shelves are always stocked, maintain store cleanliness, and deliver a friendly shopping experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Unload deliveries and organize products in the backroom or cooler.
- Restock shelves with new inventory, ensuring items are placed in the correct locations.
- Rotate stock using a first-in first-out method.
- Keep aisles, shelves, and the overall store clean and tidy.
- Sweep and mop floors as needed.
- Handle spills promptly and keep the store safe for customers.
- Help customers find specific products or answer questions about items.
- Provide recommendations and offer assistance with shopping needs.
- Occasionally assist customers with putting groceries into their vehicle.
- Conduct periodic inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
