We’re looking for a UX/UI Developer to join our high-performing team based at our Birmingham Business Park HQ. The UX/UI Frontend Developer will support the development and delivery of key strategic digital products. The role focuses on modernising and enhancing user interfaces across business-critical platforms, with a strong emphasis on user-centred design, performance, and accessibility. What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective UI solutions
- Design, build, and maintain user interfaces for new and existing applications
- Champion UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design
- Ensure technical feasibility and consistency of UI/UX designs
- Continuously improving frontend performance, usability, and maintainability
- Stay current with emerging UI technologies, frameworks, and design patterns
- Experiment with and evaluate new frontend tools and approaches
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years' experience in a frontend or software engineering role
- Strong experience building modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Commercial experience with Angular (v12 or above)
- Experience using UI component libraries such as DevExpress / DevExtreme
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle in Agile environments
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI / Swagger
- Knowledge of browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and accessibility standards
- Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of Azure App Services and modern cloud-hosted applications
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with great time management
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and self-motivation
- Comfortable working in an Agile, delivery-focused team
