Weβre looking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team based at our Birmingham HQ. This role will focus heavily on direct sourcing and building strong talent pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels, alongside partnering closely with hiring managers and senior stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide market insight. The successful candidate will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate attraction and screening through to offer communication and acceptance, ensuring an efficient, compliant, and positive candidate experience while supporting the business in achieving its growth objectives. As part of our People & Performance team, your role will include: Proactively source high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing channels, building strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring effective collaboration, cost control, and quality of candidate submissions. Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with internal policies and relevant employment legislation, while maintaining accurate records and reporting. Build strong stakeholder relationships by providing market insights, talent intelligence, and advice on recruitment challenges and hiring strategies. Produce regular recruitment reports and analytics, highlighting progress, trends, and areas for improvement. Proven experience in an internal recruitment or talent acquisition role, with a strong track record of direct sourcing and candidate engagement. Demonstrable expertise in using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques to identify and attract high-quality talent across multiple channels. Experience building and managing candidate pipelines for both immediate vacancies and future hiring needs. Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including interview coordination, offer management, and candidate negotiations. Experience within logistics, shipping, or a related industry is highly desirable.
