We are looking for a Pricing Specialist to join our Trade & Commercial team in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving commercial challenges, and working closely with both customers and operational teams.
Whether you are already working within freight forwarding, pricing, customer service or a commercial support role, we are keen to speak with people who bring the right attitude, customer focus, and desire to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll be at the heart of securing new business opportunities and supporting existing customer relationships.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing customer quotations across ocean freight imports, exports and cross-trade movements.
- Building strong relationships with customers, carriers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiating competitive rates and finding the best solutions for customers.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure a smooth handover of secured business.
- Following up on quotations, gathering customer feedback and identifying opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Producing customer proposals and strategic pricing solutions.
- Monitoring market trends and carrier developments to maintain competitive pricing.
- Supporting commercial growth through exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
What We’re Looking For

Previous Ocean Freight experience would be advantageous, but we are willing to consider individuals with transferable customer-facing or commercial experience.
