The Key Account Manager will take ownership of the relationships and ongoing development of both existing and new key customers across all modes. The focus will be on retaining current business while proactively identifying opportunities to expand the range and volume of services each customer uses.

As a Key Account Manager you’ll play a pivotal role in championing Metro’s global presence while driving success across key accounts:
- Developing and maintaining account development plans for all assigned accounts, identifying share of business, potential growth areas, and strategic actions.
- Working with internal stakeholders (Commercial, Operations, Pricing, Technology, Brokerage) to align services with evolving customer needs.
- Identifying and developing cross-sell and upsell opportunities across service lines (air, sea, road, supply chain).
- Organising and leading regular customer review meetings, including QBRs and KPI/business performance discussions.
We’re looking for someone who’s not just experienced, but passionate about logistics:
- Proven knowledge of Freight Forwarding with a focus on Key Account Management.
- Proven track record in sales development, with expertise in identifying and leveraging cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- A sharp eye for detail and understanding of its commercial impact.
- Strong numerical and commercial acumen.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and Windows systems (Cargowise experience is a plus).
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with great time management.
