Metro Rod Mid Wales & Shropshire is a fast-growing and dynamic business, part of Franchise Brands, providing drain clearance and maintenance services for over 40 years. We work with major companies in various sectors including FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial, and Leisure.
We have opportunities for experienced Reactive Drainage Engineers as well as candidates with a ground working/civils/construction background who wish to start their drainage career. Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drains
- Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and applications
- Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues
Experience we look for includes:
- Experience in commercial & domestic drainage (ideally)
- Experience in ground working/construction/civils
- Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge
- A positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- A full UK driving licence
