Reactive Drainage Engineer
Location: Bedford, Luton & Watford – LU, AL, MK postcode areas.
What’s involved?
- Carry out emergency service tasks: cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of new and existing customer assets.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
- Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment.
- Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems.
- Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times.
- Maintain a positive, helpful can‑do attitude.
- Cover normal working hours and “on‑call” out‑of‑hours on a rota basis, and be flexible to cover emergency situations outside these periods.
What do we look for?
- Experience in commercial & domestic drainage – essential.
- Experience in drain cleaning, repairs, patch lining.
- Experience with HPWJ, confined space and CSCS tickets.
- Experience with CCTV surveys and lining an advantage.
- Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
- Willingness to work occasional unsociable hours.
- Full UK driving licence – must be over 21 for insurance purposes.
- Must live in the postcode areas noted above.
