Location: Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax & Wakefield areas
Salary: £14-£16 per hour DOE plus overtime & on‑call
Hours: 45 hours per week on‑site + paid driving time
Metro Rod works with various companies in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis.
What does it entail?
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains
- Operation of High‑Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
- Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
- Being part of an on‑call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four, variable according to the business needs
What are we looking for?
- High pressure water jetting and CCTV Surveying with experience in commercial drainage beneficial but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate
- Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
- Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
- Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
- Be willing to work some unsociable hours
- Full UK driving licence
- Must live in the West Yorkshire area
