We are looking for an experienced Administrator to join our busy office based in East Kilbride. The role would suit someone who has worked within a busy office environment, where a ‘roll your sleeves up’ approach has been a given. You will have the opportunity to liaise daily with internal and external customers and will be involved in a variety of duties supporting this small but busy office.

If successful, you will be part of a team responsible for the smooth‑running of a busy engineering depot. Working day to day with our Engineers, you will help keep them organised by scheduling work and dealing with the relevant administration involved. You will work closely with your colleagues and external customers (domestic and commercial) to provide a first‑class service.
This role requires someone who is confident in working with engineers (or similar) as well as managing internal and external relationships.
What do we look for?
- Proven experience within administration and customer service – ideally within a construction, engineering or similar blue‑collar environment
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Strong administration and IT skills – using Microsoft packages
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi‑task
- Ability to cover some on‑call work (consists of manning the phone between 5pm and 7pm on some weekdays and some sporadic weekends)
