Metro Rod works with various sectors including FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. We’ve been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and we’re proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.

What does it entail?

  • Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains
  • Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
  • Carrying out surveys
  • Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
  • Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
  • Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times

What experience do we look for?

  • Experience in commercial & domestic drainage – ideally
  • Experience in ground working/construction/civils
  • Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
  • Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
  • Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
  • Full UK driving licence
