Full time permanent position in the Bangor area with a salary of £35,000 - £38,000 + on-call, overtime & benefits.
Metro Rod works with various companies in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. We are a fast-growing business and part of Franchise Brands, providing drain clearance and maintenance services on a largely reactive basis.
We are seeking a plumbing-focused engineer who is flexible, eager to learn, and interested in developing additional specialist skills within the drainage and leak detection industry. The successful candidate will primarily carry out plumbing works but will also support reactive drainage call-outs, blockage clearances, and related works as part of a varied day-to-day role. This role also forms part of an on-call rota, with overtime paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate. There will be opportunities for further training and progression into specialist leak detection services.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven plumbing experience
- Full UK driving license
- Strong customer service skills
- Problem solving skills
- Positive and proactive approach to work and customer service
- Willingness and interest in learning drainage services
- Able to participate in an on-call rota system
