Reactive Plumbing Engineer required for Kemac Metro Plumb in the Oxford area. This position involves 40 hours per week on a rota system, with a salary of ÂŁ33,000 - ÂŁ38,000 DOE plus on-call and overtime (additional ÂŁ5-6K per annum).

Metro Plumb is a national plumbing business with over 40 local depots across the UK. Our professional plumbers handle a variety of plumbing issues, including emergency repairs, stopping leaks, fixing broken boilers, and replacing dripping taps. We work alongside our sister companies to provide a complete “water in, waste out” service for our customers.

As part of Franchise Brands PLC, our customers benefit from access to over 600 drainage, pump, plumbing, and FOG engineers, providing specialist expertise and a single point of contact for all related works.

What’s involved?

  • Carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders, and heating systems.
  • Attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations, leaks, and issues.
  • Focus on customer experience and satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience as a Plumbing / Plumbing & Heating Engineer for both domestic and commercial customers.
  • NVQ Level 2.
  • Ideally Gas and pump experience (preferred, but not essential).
  • Renewable energy experience an advantage (preferred, but not essential).
  • Unvented certification (again, preferred, but not essential).
  • DBS checked (or willingness for this to be carried out).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility to work overtime.
