Metro Rod works with a range of leading brands across FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod is a fast‑growing part of Franchise Brands, delivering high‑quality drain clearance, maintenance and related services.

What’s involved:

  • Operate tanker units, carrying out cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains.
  • Operate high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
  • Accurately record work details via internal systems and apps.
  • Communicate effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times.

What do we look for:

  • Experience in tanker jetting is essential.
  • Clean HGV licence and full UK driving licence.
  • Experience in high‑pressure water jetting.
  • Confined space experience (preferable).
  • CSCS (preferable).
  • Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
  • Willing to work occasional unsociable hours.
  • Must live within commutable distance from Exeter.
