Metro Rod London Central is seeking a Drainage Engineer for the M25 area. The salary ranges from £30,000 to £37,000 DOE, with on-call and overtime opportunities (OTE £45K+).
Metro Rod works with various clients in sectors such as FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial, and Leisure. We have been providing drain clearance and maintenance services for over 40 years and are known for our quality service and customer satisfaction.
What does it entail?
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains.
- Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
- Carrying out surveys.
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
- Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications.
- Communicating effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year.
What experience do we look for?
- High pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage.
- Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
- Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
- Want to be part of a growing and progressive business.
- Be willing to work some unsociable hours.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Must live in the M25 London area.
