We are seeking a Drainage Engineer to join our team in the Sheffield and Chesterfield areas.

Pay: Up to £12–15 per hour, plus overtime, benefits and ongoing training.

What’s involved:

  • Carry out a range of services associated with tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customer drains.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
  • Work in accordance with H&S and QA procedures.
  • Maintain branded company vehicle and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Accurately record work details via bespoke internal/client systems.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod support centre colleagues.
  • Commit to working for a 24/7, 365 provider – may involve on-call rosters or unsociable hours.

What we look for:

  • Experience in drainage essential.
  • High-pressure water jetting experience.
  • CSCS certification.
  • Experience with CCTV surveys & lining an advantage.
  • Positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Willing to work occasional/unsociable hours.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Reside in South Yorkshire area.
