Metro Rod works with major clients including Equans, Amey, Aldi, Mitie, Greggs, McDonalds, Wetherspoons and many others across FM, social housing, property management, retail, industrial and leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb provide drain clearance and maintenance services on a largely reactive basis, served by over 60 franchisees nationwide. We are a fast‑growing, dynamic business that offers 24/7 service to both commercial and domestic customers.
What’s involved?
We are looking for a confident plumber who can perform all aspects of plumbing work: installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders, boilers, heating systems, etc., across domestic and commercial customers. Duties include attending heating and gas emergencies as well as general plumbing installations, leaks, and issues. Excellent customer service and quality workmanship are essential.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer for both domestic and commercial customers
- NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 (or equivalent experience)
- Unvented certification
- DBS checked (or willingness to have this carried out)
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Flexibility to work overtime
