Salary £30,000 – £37,000 DOE plus on‑call & overtime (OTE £45K+)
Metro Rod works with Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services.
What does it entail?
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains
- Operation of high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and applications
- Communicating effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times
- Being part of an on‑call rota to help service our clients 24/7/365 days a year
What experience do we look for?
- High‑pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage
- Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge
- Have a positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
- Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
- Be willing to work some unsociable hours
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Must live in the M25 London area
