Salary £27,000 – £29,000 DOE plus commission, on-call & overtime (circa £1000 per month)

Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services, delivered largely on a reactive basis to more than 60 franchisees across the UK.

What does it entail?

• Carrying out a range of services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains.
• Operating high‑pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
• Conducting surveys.
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal and client systems and applications.
• Communicating effectively with high‑profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times.
• Being part of an on‑call rota to service clients 24 / 7, 365 days a year.

What experience do we look for?

• High‑pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience.
• Surveying experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage.
• Excellent problem‑solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
• A positive, flexible, can‑do attitude.
• A desire to be part of a growing and progressive business.
• Willingness to work some unsociable hours.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MUST live in the Cirencester area.
