Metro Rod Exeter is looking for an HGV Tanker Driver/Jet Vac Driver for a full-time permanent position. Salary is dependent on experience, plus overtime and benefits.
Metro Rod works with various clients in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial, and Leisure sectors. We have been providing drain clearance and maintenance services for over 40 years and are proud of our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.
What’s involved?
- Operating a variety of tanker units to carry out services associated with cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of drains.
- Operation of high-pressure water jetting equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
- Accurately recording work/job details via bespoke internal/client systems and apps.
- Communicating effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues.
What do we look for?
- Great working attitude with skills in the clearance, cleaning, and repair of drainage systems.
- Experience in tanker jetting is essential.
- Clean HGV license.
- Confined space experience preferable.
- High-pressure water jetting experience.
- CSCS card preferable.
- Positive, flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
- Willingness to work occasional/unsociable hours.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must live within commutable distance from Exeter.
