The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. What does it entail?

  • As a Pump Service Engineer, you will work on a range of pumps and associated equipment.
  • You will perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
  • You will also carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment on a nation‑wide basis.
  • Work on client sites performing general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
  • Participate in our Emergency Call Out Rota.
  • Work with grey water and effluent systems and work within confined spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, with the use of a PDA and mobile phone.
  • Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
  • Work independently or as a member of a team.

What experience do we look for?

  • Proven experience of working with grey water and effluent systems/ submersible pumping stations
  • Mechanical and Electrical skills
  • Ideally of 3-5 years' experience in pump maintenance or a similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills for centrifugal pumps and submersible sewage pumps
  • Experience lifting, replacing, and installing pumps and associated pipework
  • Full clean UK Driving Licence
  • Good mechanical and electrical skills
  • The ability to work remotely
  • Flexibility to work on our Emergency Call‑Out Rota
  • The ability to deal professionally with customers
