Ther role
This is a varied, hands-on role working across commercial sites, delivering a mixture of reactive drainage services, planned maintenance and specialist remedial works.
You’ll investigate and clear blockages using electro-mechanical cleaning equipment, complete CCTV surveys, diagnose faults and carry out lining repairs.
We’re looking for an experienced commercial drainage engineer with a broad range of skills.
What does it entail?
- Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains
- Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
- Carrying out CCTV surveys
- Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
- Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
- Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year
What experience do we look for?
- High pressure water jetting experience
- CCTV Surveying experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial drainage
- Experience of using electro-mechanical cleaning equipment
- Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge
- Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
- Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
- Be willing to work some unsociable hours
- Full UK driving licence
