Metro Rod Ltd is a fast-growing and dynamic business, part of an ever-expanding group Franchise Brands. Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable individual to join our sales team here at Metro Rod Support Centre. This is a desk-based sales position that requires minimal sales experience. What we do require is the right attitude and the will to succeed – we can teach you the rest!
Working alongside our prestigious National Accounts Team, you will be responsible for bringing in new business as well as managing existing customer relationships – all focused around small-medium size customer accounts. The nature of our business requires the ability to use both traditional and more modern media-based methods of approaching new and existing customers. You should therefore have a strong understanding of all round MS Office to an intermediate/advanced level and be confident on the phone receiving and making calls.
You will contribute towards an overall annual team target alongside the wider sales team figures. There will also be a focus on supporting our Franchise Network with achieving their sales targets locally and nationally. Lots of development and progression available!
Please note that this is an office-based role but with some flexibility.
