The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. Within the Waste & Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one‑stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical / Electrical Pump Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background and hands‑on experience within pumps and ideally wastewater environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing pump‑related operations, supporting engineers on‑site, maintaining high safety and compliance standards, and helping to develop and train team members.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee mechanical and electrical pump operations and maintenance activities
- Be the Electrical supervisor/Appointed person NICEIC/NAPIT for the Company.
- Support and manage engineers across multiple sites
- Carry out and review electrical testing and inspections
- Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Diagnose faults and support technical problem solving
- Assist with planning and delivery of maintenance and installation projects
- Provide training, mentoring, and technical support to engineers and apprentices
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service
We are seeking someone proactive, reliable, and technically strong who can confidently support both operational delivery and team development. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working both on‑site and in a leadership capacity, with a positive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
- Minimum 4 years’ post‑qualification experience
- Experience carrying out electrical testing and inspections
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage workloads effectively
- Experience in quoting work.
- Full UK driving licence
- willingness to travel
- Experience within the wastewater industry
- Previous pump industry experience
- Experience delivering training or mentoring staff
- Experience conducting site audits and compliance checks
- Strong communication and organisational skills
