The predicted salary is between 28000 - 38000 £ per year.

Salary: £33K basic plus door to door paid overtime, plus £50 per job for additional work brought in.

To cover FK, EH, KY and TD postcode areas. Working hours: 8-5pm with on-call rota (1 in 8 weekends including bank holidays).

Founded in 1983, Metro Rod and its sister company Metro Plumb are leading providers of drain clearance and maintenance services delivered on a largely reactive basis. We have been clearing and unblocking drains for more than thirty years and pride ourselves on our reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.

What does it entail?

  • Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers’ drains.
  • Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards.
  • Carrying out surveys.
  • Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise.
  • Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps.
  • Communicating effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four – variable according to the business needs.

What are we looking for?

  • High pressure water jetting and CCTV Surveying experience in commercial drainage beneficial but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate.
  • Confined space entry experience.
  • CSCS tickets.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge.
  • Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
  • Want to be part of a growing and progressive business.
  • Be willing to work some unsociable hours.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Must be able to cover the areas mentioned above.
