Kemac Metro Plumb – Redhill/Surrey area – 40 hours per week (rota system in place). Salary £33,000 - £38,000 DOE plus on-call & overtime (additional 5-6K per annum).
Metro Plumb is a national plumbing business with more than 40 local depots across the UK. Our teams of professional plumbers handle a variety of plumbing issues, from emergency repairs and stopping leaks to fixing broken boilers and replacing dripping taps.
We work alongside our sister companies to provide a complete “water in, waste out” service for our customers. As part of Franchise Brands PLC, our customers benefit from access to more than 600 drainage, pump, plumbing and FOG engineers, providing specialist expertise and a single point of contact for all drainage, plumbing, pump and FOG works.
What’s involved?
- We are looking for a confident plumber who can carry out all aspects of plumbing work, including but not limited to installation and maintenance of toilets, taps, ball valves, siphons, flexible hoses, pipework, radiator valves, cylinders, heating systems etc across a range of domestic and commercial customers.
- You will mainly attend emergency plumbing jobs relating to installations, leaks, or issues.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience as a Plumbing/Plumbing & Heating Engineer for both domestic and commercial customers OR NVQ Level 2
- Ideally Gas and pump experience (preferred but not essential)
- Renewable energy experience an advantage (preferred but not essential)
- Unvented certification (again, preferred but not essential)
- DBS checked (or willingness for this to be carried out)
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to work overtime
