Leaf House is hiring a gardener to join our installation and maintenance team. We are looking for someone with experience and knowledge to help take exacting care of our client's gardens. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture installations and seasonal garden maintenance. Any candidates with additional experience in irrigation systems or low voltage lighting systems would be preferred. This position is full time (+35 hrs/wk). Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Perform garden maintenance under the direction of the Crew Lead: pruning, weeding, planting, cleaning
- Irrigation and low voltage repairs
- Cleanly moving materials through client's homes
- Horticulture installations
- Occasional trips to nurseries to source material
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Driver's license preferred
- 1-3 years professional gardening experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and low voltage lighting a plus (training is also provided)
- Professional attitude interacting with clients and crew
