Position Overview
As a Crew Member, you will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing high-end urban gardens. This position involves a wide range of horticultural and landscape tasks, from planting and pruning to installations and seasonal clean-ups. We are known for maintaining the highest horticultural standards, so we are seeking someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and passion for fine gardening. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires previous experience with urban garden installations and maintenance. You will work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to a team that values excellence, detail, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Perform general and specialized horticultural tasks, including planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and seasonal garden care
- Assist with garden installations and maintenance at private residences and large gardens
- Maintain high horticultural standards and attention to detail in all tasks
- Operate horticultural tools and power equipment safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members while also working independently when needed
- Adapt to changing site conditions and weather while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented mindset
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience as an urban gardener; high-end or fine gardening background preferred
- Working knowledge of plant species, plant care, soil health, and pest management
- Excellent manual dexterity, physical stamina, and comfort with outdoor work in all weather
- Ability to follow direction, prioritize tasks, and complete work efficiently
- Strong eye for detail and passion for creating and maintaining beautiful, well-structured gardens
- Positive, professional attitude with colleagues and clients
- Proficiency with horticultural tools and power equipment
Additional Information
- Competitive hourly pay starting at $24+, based on experience and qualifications

- Our season runs from March through December. We are currently hiring for the remainder of this season. If the position proves to be a good fit, there is an opportunity to continue employment into the 2026 season.
