We're looking for a commercially minded Graduate Commercial Performance Analyst to join our team at Birmingham HQ. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent Graduate who enjoys turning financial data into meaningful commercial insight, challenging the status quo, and influencing decision‑making that drives sustainable business growth. You'll work closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance and senior stakeholders to protect profitability, improve commercial outcomes and support a culture of disciplined, data‑driven decision‑making.

What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our Commercial Performance team, you'll be responsible for protecting and enhancing profitability across the business. Your role will include:
- Analysing profitability, margin performance and P&L results across customers, departments and the wider business.
- Monitoring actual versus expected profitability, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Providing commercial insight and recommendations to support pricing decisions, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Challenging loss‑making activity, margin erosion and low‑quality revenue streams while supporting corrective action.
- Acting as a trusted business partner to Commercial, Operations and senior leadership teams.
- Supporting improvements to pricing governance, reporting frameworks and profitability controls.
- Translating complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Driving continuous improvement through scalable processes, robust analysis and commercial discipline.
What You’ll Bring
We're looking for someone who's not only analytically strong but passionate about driving commercial performance. You'll need:
- Graduated in the last 2 years ideally within a relevant field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, resilient and commercially focused mindset
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using financial reporting or BI tools.
- Understanding of P&L management, profitability drivers and margin performance.
- Experience assessing pricing quality, commercial viability and expected versus actual profit outcomes.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into meaningful business insight.
- Excellent analytical capability with the ability to identify trends, root causes and performance risks.
- Confidence influencing stakeholders and constructively challenging commercial decisions.
