We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Print Account Manager to join Metro Printing. With over 40 years of industry success, we have built a strong reputation as a trusted and respected leader in the print industry. We take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and quality across a wide range of products produced on our extensive in-house equipment portfolio.
We are looking for a highly organised, commercially minded Account Manager to join our team in a primarily office-based role. This role combines account management with proactive business development activities to support our extensive client base.
The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience across commercial litho, digital and large-format print, with knowledge of packaging, signage and branded workwear being advantageous.
Key Responsibilities- Manage incoming client enquiries, interpreting briefs and specifications accurately
- Prepare detailed estimates and create customer quotations using the company’s Management Information System (MIS), Accura.
- Process and convert estimates to works orders
- Coordinate with production, pre-press, logistics to manage client expectations and production schedules
- Liaise with external suppliers where necessary
- Proactively manage timelines, flagging risks and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation within the MIS system
- Ensure projects meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Develop strategic relationships with key accounts and identify opportunities for account growth
- Actively seek new clients to add to our client portfolio
- Proven experience within commercial print, including litho, digital and large-format production
- Strong understanding of print production processes and terminology
- Proven experience using a Management Information System (MIS) is essential – Accura would be the preferred option
- Experience with estimating, job costing, and production workflows
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and production requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with both internal teams and external clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
