Working closely with the Commercial Video Lead, this role is ideal for someone who can expertly balance multiple productions, manage relationships with internal teams, crews, and clients, and consistently deliver high-quality work on deadline.

You will play a key role in guiding Metro's team of talented content creators and editors, streamlining production workflows, and helping develop compelling new video formats for social and online platforms. From ideation to distribution, you will ensure smooth communication across departments and deliver content that is impactful, timely, and on-brand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the management of a team of content creators and editors, offering guidance and troubleshooting support to team members.
  • Help develop and implement production workflows that ensure clear communication from pitch to publish.
  • Contribute to idea generation for original, social-first series, and branded video responses.
  • Present confidently to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. This could include at events and public speaking engagements.
  • Step in to make executive decisions in the absence of the Commercial Video Lead.
  • Ensure all content is delivered on time, to brief, and to a high standard at all times.
  • Help coordinate multiple shoots and projects simultaneously with strong time and resource management.
Person Specification
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar production or content role. The candidate will have proven experience working on commercial projects (agency/in-house).
  • Experience within a branded content or social-first video team is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Confident communicator and collaborator across departments.
