The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 ÂŁ per year.
What you will do:
- You will be responsible for managing the relationship of a number of key existing pension providers.
- Work to develop provider relationships to ensure first class customer service is achieved, maintaining prompt and accurate turnaround to client queries. Success here will be evidenced through the ongoing development of these relationships and the feedback they provide.
- You will establish relationships with key individuals at each provider who are able to discuss subjects ranging from day-to-day issues through to development plans. This will include the scheduling and hosting of regular service calls and occasional site visits.
- Create new business, deposits and leads to expand the pensions “portfolio/book”.
- Work with financial crime and risk colleagues to mature the due diligence review process. Ensure associated assessments are completed in line with agreed schedules and all reviews are submitted and recorded in a timely fashion – success here will be evidenced on positive feedback from Metro’s Risk & Compliance teams.
- Timely preparation and maintenance of all role related MI.
- Ensure Financial Crime related referrals are prioritised and dealt with within agreed SLA’s.
- Prompt attention to Experian alerts ensuring associated procedures are followed and findings documented as prescribed.
- Provide guidance and assistance to the Pensions Banking Team with particular focus on developing knowledge base of the pension sector.
- Develop internal relationships with Partnership Support, Pension Banking Team, Head of Pensions Banking and Support and representatives from our own Risk & Compliance, Payments and IT teams.

- A good understanding of Metro Bank’s role in the provision of bank accounts for Pension Providers, how this helps them and what our offering provides to the beneficial owner of deposits.
- Strong product knowledge of Partnership’s proposition along with an understanding of the supporting infrastructure (Commercial Online Banking) we provide for these clients and how it works.
- How to build, develop and maintain strong relationships with important introducers.
- High awareness of need for risk controls, project management and MI reporting.
