What You Will Do
- Be responsible for delivering the Metro Bank brand and business model for Invoice Finance/Commercial Banking - you will be the face of Metro Bank Invoice Finance.
- Grow our Invoice Finance book by creating FANS from business and commercial customers through business development and promotion of the Metro Bank brand.
- Consistently deliver an AMAZING customer service, which in turn will create FANS.
- Generate new business to the invoice finance team via existing bank customers and prospective customers via direct approaches and introducers (within the Bank and externally), to achieve your annual core objectives.
- Responsibilities range from business development to relationship building and pipeline management.
- Make recommendations to support Metro Bank’s business objectives whilst reinforcing the correct operational processes, ensuring we get things right first time for the Customer.
- Take responsibility, do the right thing for customers, colleagues and Metro Bank and have the ability to call out any concerns.
What You Will Need
- Knowledge of invoice finance, asset based lending and traditional banking products such as overdrafts, business accounts and term loans.
- Have banking background and ideally have held a role(s) within invoice finance sales, or invoice finance relationship management.
- Be a self-starter, with the ability to also work as part of a wider team.
- Be a good listener who is able to demonstrate empathy where needed.
- Have an inquiring mindset, with an understanding of a balance sheet, P & L and cashflows.
- Ability to multitask, managing internal and external stakeholders.

- Experience interacting with businesses and customers, understanding what they do and how they do it, their financial performance and building strong relationships.
