The End User Computing Manager provides strategic vision, governance, and direction to drive the successful delivery of the bank’s enterprise platform strategy. This role leads the design and implementation of secure, efficient, and scalable end-user services that empower colleagues, enhance productivity, and enable sustainable business growth. By aligning technology decisions with the bank’s long-term objectives, the EUC Manager ensures that platforms remain resilient, compliant, and optimised to support evolving business needs.

What You Will Do

  • Provide strategic vision and governance for rollout programs across the Colleague enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, technical standards, and long-term technology strategy.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team to deliver EUC enterprise platform strategies, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of EUC enterprise-wide applications, policies, and configurations, enabling seamless deployments and an optimised colleague experience.
  • Act as a senior advisor and key decision-maker on EUC enterprise platform initiatives, influencing outcomes that drive business priorities and operational resilience.
  • Ensure robust security and patch management in partnership with IT Security, proactively addressing vulnerabilities and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Champion automation, modernisation, and cost optimisation, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex technical challenges, providing expert guidance and ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Drive collaboration across internal teams and external service providers, ensuring integrated delivery, strong vendor governance, and strategic partnerships.
  • Safeguard business continuity through a secure, compliant, and resilient EUC enterprise platform environment, mitigating risk and supporting operational excellence.
  • Deliver an exceptional colleague experience through robust, reliable enterprise solutions, reinforcing the organisation’s commitment to service excellence and innovation.
  • Any other duties as required that reasonably fall within the role.

What You Will Need

  • Extensive experience delivering seamless end-user experiences across diverse physical and virtual platforms, including Windows OS, macOS, BYOD, Azure Virtual Desktop, M365, M365 Copilot and Windows 365.
  • Advanced professional certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator and proven expertise in enterprise computing within highly regulated financial services environments, demonstrating strong technical, operational, and compliance awareness.
  • Experienced people leader with a track record of managing, developing, and coaching high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking and security principles, enabling the design and delivery of robust, secure, and resilient EUC solutions.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and communicate technical strategies to all levels of the organisation, fostering alignment and successful business outcomes.
