Undertake Sub‑Hire audits, ensuring verification of asset ownership, utilisation, customer eligibility and compliance with facility terms. Apply professional judgement to expand testing where risk indicators are identified, ensuring issues are fully understood, evidenced and clearly documented.
- Risk Identification & Issue Management: Identify, assess and clearly report Minimum Cover Ratio (MCR), SNC and other covenant breaches, control weaknesses, fraud indicators and operational risks. Escalate material issues, emerging risks and repeat findings through appropriate governance channels in line with escalation procedures.

Build constructive working relationships while maintaining independence, professionalism and objectivity at all times.
- Planning, Organisation & Productivity: Organise and manage own diary, travel and workload to ensure all assigned audits, inspections and reports are completed within agreed timescales. Maintain sufficient survey and inspection capacity to respond to business demand, risk‑based reviews and ad‑hoc requests.
- Reporting & MI: Produce clear, accurate and well‑structured audit reports, setting out findings, root causes, risk ratings and recommended actions. Maintain high‑quality audit files and evidence trails to support internal review, external audit and regulatory scrutiny.
- Compliance & Standards: Operate in line with internal policies, SOPs, FCA and AML requirements, and best practice within Asset Finance audit and assurance. Support continuous improvement of audit methodologies, controls and processes across the Asset Finance portfolio.
