  • Prioritise work by balancing customer value, business impact, delivery feasibility, Technical health, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary Business Analyst for the squad, making timely trade-offs to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure solutions are viable, secure, and compliant.
  • Define and track success metrics such as customer outcomes, adoption, operational performance, and time‑to‑value.
  • Ensure alignment between squad delivery and wider domain, platform, and enterprise priorities, while actively managing cross‑squad dependencies and escalating risks or conflicts where required.
  • Use customer insights, data, and operational feedback to continuously refine product features and journeys.

And… we are a bank so risk is a part of everything we do. We love people who take responsibility, do the right thing for customers, colleagues and Metro Bank and have the ability to call out any concerns.

What you will need:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst or Project Manager combined with strong working knowledge of Workday, T24 and accounting related to banking platform transactions.
  • Awareness of financial accounting frameworks (IFRS) and the ability to translate between customer driven transactions and accounting outputs.
  • Understanding of how operational processes and technology intersect in a bank.
  • Experience owning and prioritising a backlog and working closely with engineering teams.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders to balance competing priorities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across product, technology, operations, and control functions.
  • Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders.

Our promise to you…
