What you will do
- Proactively managing a pipeline of casework from sanction date to actual drawdown – ranging from loans (which could include Loan Market Association loans and associated amended and restate agreements), development loans, overdrafts, credit cards and BACS facilities.
- Preparing files and instructions to valuers and checking valuations received.
- Formulating loan documentation to ensure all regulatory and sanctioned conditions are adhered to.
- Instructing solicitors ensuring legal due diligence is completed, whilst fulfilling all conditions precedent to a facility drawing down.
- Preparing documentation and files for drawdown making sure all documentation, CRM and electronic folders are completed accurately and provided for sign off by a mandate holder in a timely manner.
- Dealing with post completion matters such as the collateral input and security perfection of a drawn case along with other post completion matters which may include collateral servicing requests, consents to leases, letters of non-crystallization, Section 106 Agreements etc.
- Ensure all IT databases used (CRM, Sharepoint, electronic files) are accurately maintained.
- Assist fellow colleagues and team leaders with any adhoc projects and any other duties as and when required.
- Challenge and review procedure guides ensuring that they are up to date, including drafting any amendments required.
- Creating and maintaining great relationships with all colleagues and external third parties including legal firms and being the go to person on queries relating to lending and security documentation.
What you will need
- Strong knowledge and experience in commercial lending documentation and securities.
- Experience in coaching and training less experienced colleagues with commercial lending and security documentation.
- Some knowledge and experience in dealing with possible CCA regulated lending documentation.
- Self starter with the ability to proactively find solutions to problems as they come up.
