What you will do:
- Be responsible for maintaining and extending core Microsoft and Cloud technologies to ensure all systems and applications function smoothly.
- Lead a team of skilled IT Operations Engineers who specialize in Microsoft/Cloud Technologies across Windows and Linux servers.
- Embrace new technologies to deliver the best customer and user experience.
- Manage and develop IT Operations team resources, including: Leadership, Mentoring, Resource planning, hiring, appraisals, Supplier management.
- Demonstrate strong technical and leadership skills, ability to lead and solve complex technical issues.
- Demonstrate strong problem solving, analytical and research capabilities and ability to manage changing priorities, deal with ambiguity and use good judgement in stressful situations.
- Reduce costs by implementing more efficient processes and automating key workflows.
- Manage critical supplier relationships to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

What you will need:
- Advanced knowledge and significant experience on the following Microsoft Technologies: Domain Controllers, AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management.
- PKI (Certificate Authority, NDES/SCEP, Certificate lifecycle management).
- Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA and identity security.
- Microsoft SQL 2012/2016 onwards.
- Expertise in upgrading and migrating Microsoft or Windows-based applications to latest versions such as File Server, CA, DHCP, Domain Controllers or Tier 3 Applications.
- Expertise in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
- An advanced understanding of all areas of IT Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud technologies, IT Security, Database, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Considerable experience in team and people management, including dealing with hiring, appraisals, feedback, forecasting, resources, and project management.
- Will have worked as a lead/managing 3rd Line Engineers.
- Microsoft and Azure Certifications.
