This role requires to be office-based in Basildon twice per week.

What you will do:

  • Monitor and maintain ledger performance, taking any appropriate action quickly to prevent ageing
  • Respond to ledger changes to ensure funding levels are always appropriate
  • Dispute management
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide an amazing service, including complaints handling where appropriate
  • Liaise with customers to resolve queries and obtain necessary paperwork when required
  • Attend customer visits with Relationship Managers/Relationship Directors
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships in order to work together to enhance the customer experience and protect the Bank from loss
  • Execute processes with accuracy and maintain documentation in line with all Standard Operational Processes

What you will need:

  • Experience in credit control and Invoice Finance
  • Experience in a financial/accounting environment
  • Proven experience of dealing with customer enquiries on a day-to-day basis
  • Experience in managing post, compiling spreadsheets, and producing MI
  • Amazing customer service skills as you will be interacting with our customers and stakeholders
  • A real eye for detail and confidence with numerical data
  • Strong communication skills and telephone confidence with the ability to adapt your communication style to any situation
  • Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
