As an AML CTF Specialist – Transaction monitoring, you will work as part of the Financial Crime Operations Alert Monitoring & Screening team to make sure that the Bank’s sanctions, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing alerts are managed in line with sanctions and financial crime policies and minimum standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct high risk transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence across our entire customer base including our highest risk Commercial and Personal customers e.g. Money Service Businesses & PEPs.
  • Refer high risk cases to the AML/CTF investigators for full reviews to be undertaken.

What you will need
  • You need to have current knowledge of POCA 2002, the requirements of the Money Laundering Regulations and the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group Guidance.
  • Understanding of business / commercial banking and KYC / KYB.
  • Methodical and systematic in your working approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority.
  • Experience and understanding of Business and Commercial Banking.
