About Metris Energy
At Metris, we're on a mission to accelerate the energy transition by helping solar owners manage their asset(s) autonomously with AI. Today, our platform delivers real-time data on thousands of solar projects across the UK and automates time-consuming tasks involved in solar management such as monitoring, fault detection, reporting and billing. Next, Metris is building proprietary AI to deliver autonomous operation of small-scale renewables.
At Metris, we don’t just want to ‘sell software’, we want to enable our customers to scale their solar portfolios faster. As a Solutions Consultant you’ll work closely with sales, product and support teams to design and implement solutions that meet customer requirements, ensuring successful onboarding and long-term adoption of our platform. Our product is technical and the most successful candidate will be as comfortable debugging data queries as speaking to customers.
As the second hire in this team, you have the opportunity to help build the implementation function from the ground up, design processes and have hands-on responsibility for working with our most important customers.
- Primary ownership of customer implementation.
- Lead implementation of the Metris solution end-to-end from data migration and integrations to feature delivery.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support during pre- and post-sales stages.
- Join late stage sales calls, understand customer requirements and design tailored implementation solutions.
- Where required, deliver product demos, technical presentations and support on commercial proposals.
Experience:
- 4+ years work experience as a solutions engineer or technical consultant with a track record in delivering complex projects/deals and experience in working closely with senior clients/customers.
- Comfortable with data, workflows and technical troubleshooting.
- You excel at both sales and project management; renewable energy experience is a bonus.
- Shape the entire implementation function from the ground up.
Flexible working arrangements: 3 days/week in office (2 days hybrid). We are looking to extend an offer in June with flexible start dates possible (July-September). Our process will evaluate the range of skills required for this role from data to customer handling.
