We’re partnering with a global consulting organisation at the forefront of data, analytics and AI transformation.

Their specialist Data & AI practice works with major organisations to design the data foundations that power advanced analytics, AI and emerging agentic AI use cases.

This role sits squarely at the intersection of strategy, advisory and delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, influencing stakeholders and helping organisations become truly data-driven.

You’ll be part of a high-growth team shaping AI-ready data operating models, governance frameworks and trusted data ecosystems; work that directly enables scalable, ethical and impactful AI.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Consultant within the Data & AI Strategy team, you’ll support and lead client engagements focused on building robust data foundations.

  • Advisory & Strategy
  • Act as a trusted advisor on data management, governance and analytics strategy
  • Help clients define AI-ready data visions, roadmaps and operating models
  • Clearly articulate the business value of data governance, quality and master data management
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused recommendations
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to drive alignment, buy-in and behavioural change
  • Design & Delivery
  • Design elements of data management and governance operating models (roles, processes, standards, stewardship)
  • Support the design and implementation of data governance, data quality and MDM solutions
  • Ensure governance and compliance are embedded into data platforms, analytics solutions and AI products
  • Partner with architects, engineers, data scientists and business leaders to deliver integrated solutions
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary teams delivering large-scale transformation programmes
  • Capability Building
  • Lead small workstreams and support the development of junior consultants
  • Contribute to internal best practices, propositions and thought leadership

  • Core Experience
  • Strong consulting or advisory skillset with confident stakeholder communication
  • Hands‑on experience delivering data management, data governance or MDM initiatives
  • Practical experience with at least one data governance or data management tool (e. g. Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Ataccama, Microsoft Purview)
  • Project experience across areas such as data catalogues, lineage, metadata, data quality or master data
  • Experience in defining or operating data stewardship models in federated or centralised environments
  • Exposure to AI-related data preparation, AI governance or Responsible AI frameworks
  • Understanding of model lifecycle management, bias detection or explainability
  • Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK or similar frameworks
