Metric Search are hiring trainee Business Development Executives to join our team in Nottingham City Centre for Summer 2024. This exciting opportunity will allow you to gain experience in the recruitment industry in fascinating Global Market Sectors within Life Sciences, Med Tech & Engineering & Construction. We will give you all the support and tools to be successful and we have proven this with our previous placement recruitment consultant hires seeing a lot of success and progressing quickly.

Salary: £21,750 basic + an industry-leading uncapped 60% commission structure

How you will make an impact?
- Responsible for Account Management of current clients.
- Business Development and attracting new accounts.
- Having full autonomy and responsibility for the recruitment process.
- Developing and building relationships in your niche specialist market and delivering search solutions at the highest level.
- Sourcing and actively headhunting mid to senior-level candidates for clients worldwide, ensuring technical, cultural, and experience fit for roles specialised within the industry.
- Market research and candidate market mapping.
- Discussing individual candidate needs & providing professional advice on opportunities.
- Reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating candidate shortlists for clients.
- Briefing candidates on the role, pay rates and timeframes.
- Organising and preparing candidates for interview as and when requested.
- Providing feedback to candidates following interview.
- Discussing job offers with successful candidates.
- Negotiating pay rates and finalising arrangements for placements.
- Attending conferences and industry events to keep abreast of the latest developments within both the recruitment marketplace and your specialist industry.
