I’m working with a fast-growing data centre developer looking to appoint a VP of Development to lead the execution of major hyperscale and mission-critical projects across the UK / Europe. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can take ownership of projects from site acquisition / due diligence through entitlement, permitting, design coordination, utility strategy and development execution.

They’re looking for someone who understands the full data centre development lifecycle and can work closely with land, power, design, construction, legal, finance and external stakeholders to move complex projects forward.

The ideal profile will have:

  • 10+ years of development experience, with a proven track record delivering large-scale data centre projects.
  • Background managing large-scale hyperscale / mission-critical projects.
  • Experience across land, entitlement, permitting, utilities and infrastructure delivery.
  • Ability to manage consultants, municipalities, utilities and internal teams.
  • Commercial awareness around schedule, cost, risk and project viability.

This would suit someone currently operating at Senior Director or VP level within a data centre developer, operator, hyperscaler, infrastructure platform or specialist development environment.
