Backed by a global healthcare leader and spun out of a world-renowned UK university, this is a rare opportunity to drive the delivery of software that genuinely matters.
They are looking for a Scrum Master, Software Delivery to take end-to-end ownership of software project delivery from initiation through to closure. You will coach agile teams, manage complex cross-functional delivery and act as the bridge between engineering and senior stakeholders in a regulated medical device environment.
What you will be doing:
- Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews and Retrospectives
- Coaching teams on agile mindset, self-organisation and continuous improvement, and coaching Product Owners on backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Owning sprint predictability, velocity tracking and delivery metrics such as burndown and cycle time
- Creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones and managing scope, dependencies, risks and assumptions
- Coordinating multiple workstreams across software, systems, QA, regulatory and operations teams simultaneously
- Acting as the primary communication channel between development teams and senior leadership, preparing status reports and executive updates
- Managing documentation, approvals and phase gates within formal governance frameworks
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience managing complex software delivery projects, preferably within regulated or safety-critical industries
- Deep understanding of the Scrum framework and agile principles, with hands-on experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery models
- Strong working knowledge of delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence and MS Project
- Demonstrable experience working within formal governance frameworks including DHF documentation and QMS requirements
- Proven ability to identify project and technical risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Degree in Computer Science or a relevant engineering discipline
