Metric Bio are very proud to be partnered with a Premier Life Sciences CRO, on the hunt for Chief of Staff. This is a pivotal leadership role within a high-growth organisation, acting as the critical link between the Leadership Team and Executive Team. This position is responsible for driving strategic, operational, and cultural initiatives set by senior leadership.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee execution of key initiatives across departments and geographies
- Drive accountability on delivery, performance, and professional standards
- Support M&A activity and post-deal integration where required
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Partner with the Executive Team to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning
- Translate strategy into actionable plans, programmes, and measurable deliverables
- Track progress against strategic objectives and report on key metrics
Leadership & Team Management
- Direct line management of senior functional leaders and project teams
- Chair leadership meetings, ensuring clarity, focus, and accountability
- Provide regular updates and insights to the Executive Team
Experience & Requirements:
- 10–15+ years in senior leadership roles, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience within CRO, Preclinical or CDMO environments (highly preferred).
This role is primarily remote, however, infrequent travel to sites (both national, and sometimes international) would be expected. The Chief of Staff position demands a high degree of professionalism and diplomacy, excellent organisational skills -- this could be your next best opportunity to execute widespread organisational change in a position that matters.
