Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Head of People Development, you will be instrumental in designing and leading our Management Development program. You'll craft a tailored training roadmap that reflects the diverse needs of our teams across different cultures, businesses, and global locations. You'll work closely with key stakeholders to understand the organization's needs, design impactful learning experiences, and travel across our offices in Europe and the US to deliver them in person.

Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Head of People to create scalable, repeatable training around our FIRMWARE, our organic approach to embedding our company values into daily operations. You will ensure these values are integrated throughout Metrea by providing tools and support to foster an authentic, values-driven culture across all levels of the organization.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Program Creation: Develop a comprehensive training roadmap tailored to the diverse needs of teams across different cultures, business functions, and global locations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to understand organizational needs and craft impactful learning experiences.
  • Training Delivery: Travel to different offices across Europe and the US to deliver in-person training sessions to ensure consistency and engagement.
  • Entrepreneurial Program Design: Approach the role with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of building new programs from the ground up.
  • Strategic Impact: Drive the overall people development strategy, with a focus on shaping the future of talent development and learning experiences within the organization.
  • Adaptability: Be agile and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with the ability to respond to evolving business needs and challenges.
  • Global Coordination: Work to harmonize the people development efforts globally, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and cultural initiatives.
  • Program Iteration: Continuously assess the effectiveness of development programs and make improvements to better meet the organization's evolving needs.
  • Feedback Loop: Establish a feedback mechanism to incorporate learnings from different teams and regions into future training programs.

Skills And Experience

  • 3+ years of work experience in the design, delivery, and improvement of training.
  • A demonstrable love for all things learning, teaching and professional development.
  • A strong external network that informs best practice and cutting‐edge thinking.
  • Proven track record in nurturing and advancing diverse talent, from hourly to salaried employees.
  • Proven experience in L&D, with a focus on learning design, strategic learning approaches to capability gaps and learning needs analysis.
  • Skill and experience in personally facilitating training sessions and workshops.
  • Previous experience of working with a hybrid workforce globally is highly desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial; Experience building content from scratch that has adapted to the unique cultures, businesses and levels within the teams.
  • Solutions focussed; Experience spotting opportunities and implementing change to become more effective or efficient both for the internal people team and the training experience.
  • Over‐deliver; Ruthless prioritisation ensuring that the highest value work has your focus.
