The Engagement Group provides high-level guidance and support to ensure the Enterprise engages – both internally and externally – in a clear, targeted, and consistent manner. By managing the frameworks, toolkits, templates, systems and processes and supporting delivery and execution, the group enables the Enterprise to effectively map, network, collect, shape, and execute events.
Position Summary
The Creative Designer integrates creative direction with strategic thinking producing content that aligns with the broader business strategy, as well as the goals and vision of the Enterprise, ensuring the way Metrea is represented – both internally and externally – is consistent, continuously improving, and evolving.
The Creative Designer supports and enables teammates across the Enterprise with the generation of compelling visual assets that enhance the clarity, impact, and competitiveness of bid submissions, internal and external events, and communication. It implements and oversees a rigorous approval process to safeguard brand consistency and alignment across the Enterprise.
This reports directly to the Head of Creative and works closely with them to ensure the delivery of consistently high-quality design outputs that strengthen how Metrea is represented.
Role And Responsibilities
- Design compelling graphics and layouts for bid and proposal submissions, ensuring clarity, impact, and brand alignment.
- Produce branded collateral for events and conferences, including booth designs, banners, signage, brochures, presentations, and digital assets.
- Support enterprise communications by creating visuals that enhance the clarity of external and internal messaging.
- Apply The Blue Book brand guidelines across all creative outputs, safeguarding consistency and quality.
- Work closely with developers and UX & UI designers, to co‐create integrated design outputs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of Metrea's creative identity.
- Participate in reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to continuously raise the standard of design.
- Maintain disciplined adherence to The Blue Book while identifying opportunities to evolve and improve its application.
Skills And Experience
- Versatile design foundation with strength in graphic design, typography, and layout.
- Demonstrable mastery of visual hierarchy, legibility, colour, tone, and balance.
- A portfolio that evidences branding excellence and visual communication at a high standard.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign essential; After Effects desirable).
- Experience creating infographics, pitch decks, and event collateral.
- The ability to operate at pace, adapt with precision, and collaborate openly.
- Comfortable multi‐tasking, managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Uncompromising eye for detail, ensuring outputs consistently embody the Metrea brand DNA.
- Experience in design for the defense industry, with an understanding of secure communication, confidentiality, and mission‐focused visual standards.
