As our UK Enterprise Account Manager, you’ll own and develop a portfolio of high-value enterprise prospects and customers across the UK. You’ll lead full-cycle, consultative sales processes, working closely with CISOs, CIOs, Heads of Information Security, and IT leaders to help them manage sensitive data risks across their SaaS stack. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast-scaling environment, and wants to play a pivotal role in shaping Metomic’s presence in the UK market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle — from outbound prospecting to negotiation and close.
  • Develop a territory plan that prioritises key UK industries (e.g. financial services, technology).
  • Build trusted relationships with senior security, IT, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Deliver tailored demos and solutions with the support of Sales Engineering.
  • Lead RFP responses and procurement cycles aligned with UK purchasing processes.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline reporting, and CRM hygiene using HubSpot.
  • Partner with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term account health.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns tailored to the UK and EMEA buyer journey.
  • Gather customer feedback to help inform product direction and market positioning.
  • Represent Metomic at UK conferences, meetups, and industry events.
  • Extensive Travel >50% across UK & EMEA.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years selling to enterprise customers in the UK.
  • Proven track record closing complex deals of £80k–£200k+ ACV.
  • Experience selling into information security, data protection, or IT teams — ideally within the UK market.
  • Comfortable managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (6–12 months).
  • Strong understanding of UK compliance and data protection landscapes (GDPR, ICO guidance, third-party risk).
  • Proficient with enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, BANT & Sandler, etc.).
  • Experience selling into sectors with strong data governance needs.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex data security concepts into clear business value.
  • Highly organised, with strong territory planning skills.
  • Resilient, proactive, and comfortable owning revenue targets.
  • Able to operate in a fast-moving, scaling startup environment.
